ANNUAL MEETING

The Wisconsin Transit Riders Alliance has annual meetings to listen to keynote speakers, elect officers, decide policy and address issues.

The 2016 Annual Meeting will be held April 19 10 AM-12 PM in the first floor Conference Room of the Madison Central Public Library, 201 W Mifflin St.View Map. A block away from the Capitol, the library is accessible by any number of buses that go downtown. There is a parking rack for bicycles by the library’s entrance, and a parking lot for automobiles across Mifflin St. Nino Amato, President of the Wisconsin Coalition of Aging Groups will speak on transportation options for Wisconsin’s aging population.

WATCH THIS SPACE! Coming in 2016, a new La Crosse area organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for public transportation in the La Crosse area. We will affiliate with the Wisconsin Transit Riders Alliance and seek ways to grow and enhance public transportation options in our area.

Our first (organizational) meeting will be in January 2016. If you are interested in helping to start the group please email!
